This marks GiG’s first entry to the regulated gaming market of this South-East European country, thanks to the deal with this hospitality, tourism and services company that will provide GiG’s platform, front-end development and will manage their digital operations. They also own four hotels (Hotel Epinal in Bitola and hotels Sport, Bistra and Lodge in Mavrovo) and the Mavrovo Ski Resort. The government of North Macedonia has finished with its tradition of keeping its country closed for online gambling operators and have allowed applying for online licenses. Through their LeGrand casinos, K.A.K. will therefore be one of a handful of operators in North Macedonia to offer table games to online players along with a complete slots portfolio. K.A.K. has selected GiG’s casino platform offering as well as GiG’s managed media services to capitalise on their digital transformation from land based to online gambling. Good Feeling All Around The agreement will be signed on August 2020. It will be on the combined fixed fee and revenue share structure. GIG’s casino offering should go live by 2021’s first quarter and will provide significant contribution to company’s revenue.
